Chocolate Hazelnut Spread Recipe

Chocolate Hazelnut Spread Recipe

Who doesn’t love Nutella? Chocolate and hazelnut goodness that you can spread over just about anything? Yes, please! Hydrogenated who-knows-what-really that screws with your system and destroys your health? Uuuhhh, nevermind…

Well, so, I decided to give my own a go. It’s not bad, though it could use some tweaking. If anyone tries this and has some suggestions, let me know!

1 cup hazelnuts
1 cup honey
1/2 cup cocoa powder
6 to 8 tbsps whole milk
4 tbsps unsalted butter
3 tsps vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

Toss everything in a food processor and process until very, very smooth (10ish minutes). Makes about 2 and a half cups. It’ll be a bit runny. Put it in a glass jar and refrigerate. It’ll set up to a spreadable consistency. Mmmmmmmmmm!
